A comprehensive strategic plan for making OneStop Hub a sustainable, impactful, and nationally recognised NPO that addresses South Africa's skills shortage at scale.
South Africa faces a critical and well-documented skills shortage that perpetuates unemployment, poverty, and inequality. The Sector Education and Training Authority (SETA) system, while valuable, has been identified as insufficient to address the scale of the problem. OneStop Hub was established to fill this gap with a practical, accessible, and scalable solution.
By offering 28+ self-paced, audible, and interactive training programs across six disciplines — beauty and wellness, construction and trades, business and administration, caregiving and health, lifestyle and domestic, and creative arts — OneStop Hub addresses the immediate needs of unemployed South Africans while building the foundation for sustainable entrepreneurship.
Our digital-first approach allows for rapid scaling at a fraction of the cost of traditional training institutions, while our post-training equipment support and mentorship network ensure that training translates into real economic activity. We are structured to speak directly to the mandatory requirements of South African funders, including SETA, corporate CSI/B-BBEE, and government grant programs.
OneStop Hub employs a diversified funding strategy to ensure long-term sustainability and reduce dependence on any single funding source. Our model is designed to appeal to the full spectrum of South African and international funders.
OneStop Hub directly contributes to the following National Development Plan (NDP) 2030 goals, making it a compelling investment for government-aligned funders:
Whether you are a corporate funder, government agency, or individual donor, there is a meaningful role for you in making this 5-year plan a reality.
